(1) If any country requests the Government of Nepal to freeze the assets of any person, group or organization that is related to terrorist activities or has reasonable grounds to suspect it, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs shall immediately inform the Ministry of Home Affairs. (2) Nepalese or foreign nationals or If any other person, group or organization is or may be involved in terrorist activities in Nepal or any country outside of Nepal, if there are reasonable grounds to be involved, by itself or if requested by any country in accordance with sub-section (1), the Home Office in relation to such person, group or organization The Ministry shall conduct necessary investigations. (3) If any person, group or organization in Nepal or in any country outside of Nepal is found to be involved in the activities as per sub-section (2) or section 4 or if any person, group or organization is found to be involved in any activity considered as a terrorist activity according to the prevailing law. The Government of Nepal may list such person, group or organization in the list of persons, group or organization related to terrorist activities and issue an order to freeze the property or funds of such person, group or organization. (4) The person, group or organization listed in the list as per subsection (3) If there is no basis for listing, the Government of Nepal may remove the name of such person, group or organization from such list. (5) If the name of person, group or organization listed in accordance with subsection (4) is removed from such list, the Ministry of Home Affairs shall immediately publish the information on its website.
